Caught in the rain

I went out after work tonight on a lovely cool evening around sunset. Did my 3.5 mi route and was trying to get it done in 38 min, but I came in at 39:30 which I think is 11:20 min miles. I would like to get that route in 38 min or under 11 min miles. I think that will help me get Vegas done in 2.5 hours. I caught the beginning of a good rainstorm in my last half mile which was beautiful and perfect. Although fat dog didn't enjoy it so much.
