Ok, so I am crashing again. Haven't been able to make myself do anything except eat. The only time I feel decent is when I am at work with the kids. I will see Dr. Saeed on Saturday. I am reaching out, emailing people and asking if they want to meet for dinner and such. When I do that it's so hard not to cancel. So that's where I am. :(
Well Missy, I'm so sorry to hear that! That really stinks. You are going through a huge adjustment right now, and it must be very difficult, maybe more difficult than you anticipated.
ReplyDeleteI will support you whatever you want to do about this damn half marathon. I wonder if it would be better for you to just make a decision about it? I hate thinking you are under pressure about it and it is making things even harder for you. Would you like me to figure out if we can change the dates on your flight? I doubt if it is refundable, but perhaps we can just move it? You let me know, whatever you want to do is good with me. And if you want to do that half marathon, I will keep cheering for you!
I wonder if there's a 5k? Missy this is just making you miserable and it should be something that enhances your life, not adds stress. There's no shame in just letting it go this time. Just come out and spend some sista time. Then, you can get yourself geared up for the Phx RnR half if you want to. I'm doing that one again.
ReplyDeletePutting one foot out the door for a walk in the morning is both the easiest and hardest thing to do, but just get out there, walk a half mile. You don't need to do 2 or 6. Just get out there. You know it ALWAYS makes you feel better. Its the only 100% guarantee!
